This is a 'quickie' - using cottage
cheese (paneer). If you want more quantity, you can add fresh peas too.

Ingredients 
- Paneer (cottage cheese) – crumbled – 11/2 cups ( about 200 gms.)
 - Onion – 2 medium-sized – finely chopped ( about 1 1/2 cups)
 - Green chilli – 3-4 – finely chopped
 - Tomato – 3 -4 firm - medium-sized – finely chopped
 - Oil – 2 tbsp
 - Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
 - Asafetida – a pinch
 - Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
 - Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
 - Coriander-cumin powder – 1 tsp
 - Sugar – 1/2 - 1 tsp
 - Salt to taste
 - Fresh coriander – 3 tbsp – finely chopped
 
Method 
- Heat 2 tbsps oil in a pan.
 - Add cumin seeds. When they start spluttering, add a dash of asafetida.
 - Add the chopped onions and fry on a low flame.
 - When they turn translucent, add the chopped green chilli and stir for 2 minutes.
 - Add chopped tomatoes and fry for 2-3 minutes.
 - Add turmeric powder, coriander-cumin powder, red chilli powder, sugar and salt and stir well.
 - Add the crumbled paneer and keep stirring on low fire for 3-4 minutes.
 - Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot with chapathi.
