A healthy Maharashtrian dish for chapathi, the main ingredients are fenugreek leaves (methi leaves), gram flour and onions. 
Ingredients  
- Methi (Fenugreek) leaves – 1 big bunch – cleaned, chopped and washed (or 200gms frozen pack)
 - Fresh coriander leaves – chopped fine – 5 - 6 tbsp (heaped)
 - Onion – 2 medium-sized - chopped
 - Green chilli – 2 (cut in half and slit)
 - Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
 - Asafetida – ¼ tsp
 - Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
 - Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
 - Coriander-cumin powder – 2 tsp
 - Gram flour – 4 tbsp
 - Oil – 3 - 4 tbsp
 - Salt to taste
 
Method
- Wash the cut fenugreek leaves and coriander leaves well, and keep in a colander.
 - Heat oil in a kadhai, add cumin seeds. When it splutters, add asafetida.
 - Then add the chopped onion and fry till light brown.
 - Add turmeric powder, coriander-cumin powder, red chilli powder and salt.
 - Add the fenugreek and coriander leaves and stir well.
 - Cover and cook on low heat – for 5-7 minutes.
 - When water has almost evaporated, add gram flour and stir well.
 - Cover and cook for a couple of minutes.
 - Remove the cover and continue on low heat, stirring in between till it gets cooked and browns a little.
 - Turn off the stove and keep covered.
 - After 10 minutes, check it out and fry a little more if gram flour tastes uncooked.
