A tasty and spicy dish with the goodness of paneer (cottage cheese) and capsicum.

Ingredients
- Capsicum – ½ kg – cut in long strips
- Paneer – 200 gms – cut in 1cm cubes
- Onion – 1 big – cut in thick long strips
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Asafetida – 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1 tsp
- Tandoori masala – 1 ½ -2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 3-4 tbsp
Method
- Add ½ tbsp of tandoori masala and required salt to the paneer pieces and mix well and set aside.
- Heat 3 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan.
- Add cumin seeds and asafetida.
- When they splutter, add the sliced onions and fry well.
- Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander & cumin powders and 1 tbsp of tandoori masala and fry for a minute.
- Add the sliced capsicum and salt and mix well.
- Cook covered on a low heat for 5 minutes.
- Add the marinated paneer and mix well.
- Add 1 more tbsp of oil if required and cook covered for a minute.
- Remove the lid & fry for another 5-7 minutes.
- Serve hot with chapathis.
